[Review] Addicted to Polish – Color Phase Nail Polish

I recently bought a new polish called Colored Phase, which is super new and I can’t find it on google anywhere at all. Its super neat. Its has a polish color on one end and top coat on the other.

So I gave it a whirl and lets just say this is the funniest polish ever. We all use the regular nail polish or art polish to make designs. But who new a top coat could do the same effect! The polish itself has really awesome formula, not to watery and not to thick. Slides on your nail perfectly! Also its really easy to hold to, just kinda use it like a pencil but place a finger on the top when using the top coat to make your design! The top coat is a bit thin, then normal top coats I use! The normal polish takes a 4 minute drying period and the top coat takes about a 2-4 minute drying period. The longer the top coat sits on this set the darker it gets. This is a purple and by the time its done it looks like strawberry purple! These are found at Rite Aid for 4 bucks a set!

As you can see it’s pretty addicting! You can get creative, use the brush, dot tools, and maybe stamp plates or mini brush sets! Its easy to glide on the nail and dried in about 2-4 minutes depending on how much you use! Doing cross lines like on the thumb shown does kinda make it effect the other lines a bit odd. So maybe don’t go over the line you already made!

Here you can see I tried using Seche, Essie Matte, and China Glaze Matte, over the other top coat and it didn’t work. It look the design I made and smeared it, even though you don’t see it happening as you put it on. The Essie Matte didn’t completely ruin the whole nail look, but took the other purple look away. So lets just say you can’t use other top coats period, with this polish.

Odorless nail polish

I came across a site that has some odorless nail polish and remover! I get to review some, but I wanted to share with you all ahead of time! Now I can do my nails around my husband and kids and not worry about fumes. There isnt many out there, but I am hearing its starting to get to more places.

Nail Art Fun: Converse Shoes

This nail art took some time to do. Took me lil over half hour to do..

1. Black color for the base
2. White tips
3. 3 silver dots on each side nails
4. White color for the laces like shoes are
5. black dots over the silver after the laces.
6. Clear coats.

You can do one or however many shoe nails. Then with other nails you dont do shoes, add a little silver line over the black/white line!!!

MEGA LAST NAIL COLOR

I bought this nail polish the other day and finally had a chance to test it out. I have to admit nail polish these days seem like same colors, same style of brushes, and more expensive. This one however  is $2.00 and is called on a trip, and the brush us different then the other brushes. This brush is a flat style brush and holds alot of polish. I was able to dip once and do one whole hand, that’s a huge improvement compared to the round brush’s. Since the brush is flat its way easy to glide on without smudging or missing edges. This polish is NEW and they only have a few different colors then the repeats of the same colors. I bought this one and the candy licious rose bonbon (pink) color, have yet to try out. I really like these pro flat brush’s they are easy and way better ever. You can find my nail polish facebook page here… I reccomend this polish as try its very quick and fast drying as well. It does however have a bit of a stronger smell then the non pro polish does.

Nail Art Fun: Addicted to FB Nails

Here I created a fun yet way to prove im addicted to FB lol

1. Use a dark blue as a base flat color
2. Use a much lighter color to create a french manicure look
3. Then use a top coat to let it dry
4. Then real slow create the letter F and then make the F look BOLD. Its a capital F and lower case F in one!!!

Nail Art Fun: Ying Yang

This is one I found in a book that’s for ameture’s but I’m not lol, though it has loads of great tips and designs!

First use any color nail art polish I mixed it up
Create on side then the other, make sure to make a curve in the middle to separate the to!
Then make a dot on the opposite colors
You can just use 2 colors for all nails or use many colors on all nails!

I did a candy cane nail art theme!

White color for the base – Sinful Color Nail Polish
Red, Green for the stripes - Sinful Color Nail Polish and LA Color Polish
–Though you can choose any nail color for the stripes!!
Clear coat for the top layer – ORLY

Nail Art Fun: Spiders, Webs and Cats Oh My Halloween

This is a 5 nail fun.

-Take the color White or black to use as a flat!
-Then use the thumb with White or black (opposite color you used as a flat color)  Make a web!
– Use the corner tip and make 3 lines pointing out, then use the empty spaces to make the wide lines!
-  Next is the spider
– make a line half way down from top, make a circle and color in, then legs and use white/black for the eyes
- Next is a cat
–Make 2 eyes and then make 3 whiskers on each side
-Next is the Boo saying
– Just write the BOO on there or make a ghost!
- Last since pinkys are small I just made 3 long lines!

You can choose the order as you want but its a the idea!!
